🏊🏼Can you swim without being Michael Phelps?
🏈Can you toss a football around if you’re not Brett Favre?
🏋🏻♀️Can you do Crossfit even if you’re not an ‘elite’ athlete?
We believe that if you have a body, you are automatically an athlete. Our coaches have worked with people recovering from surgery, who have chronic illnesses, or have never exercised a day in their life.
Each workout is tweaked and altered by the coach for every individual person. We take the guesswork out by leading you through a customized session.
Two of the basic principles of Crossfit are scaling and progression. All those difficult-looking movements can be broken down into small pieces and further modified, or “scaled”, to anyone’s fitness level. There is a version of every single exercise that you can do and we’ll help you find it! Plus, you’ll have a knowledgeable coach making sure you’re doing things safely and with good form — much better than being alone in the gym with no idea what to do! As you master the basics and get stronger, the coach will help you progress to the next step. That progression is how your body changes, gets stronger, and loses weight.
Crossfit is actually great for beginners for these exact reasons: Not only will you have a guide who’s going to help you reach your goals, be safe and have fun, but they will also keep challenging you with progressions, so you don’t plateau.
