How much time do you spend at the gym? Probably 1 hour a day, 3-5 times a week, right? You’re working hard to achieve your weight loss goals. Absolutely, what you do at the gym is a critical part of looking and feeling better, but it is not THE deciding factor.
You spend another 23 hours outside of the gym each day. What you do during these 23 hours will play a much bigger role in your success.
23 > 1.
Think about it: If you go to the gym for one hour, and then eat an entire pizza for lunch (any pizza is a personal pizza if you truly believe in yourself), will the workout offset the pizza? No!
Ok, so that’s a bit of an extreme example, but you get the point.
Starting in 2019 we at Strong Tower are going to put nutrition first because nutrition is what will get you to your goals. 90% of our clients have goals of either losing weight or improving athletic performance–both of these can only be achieved through eating correctly.
Lose weight? Nutrition.
Faster Fran time? Nutrition.
That muscle up? Nutrition.
Run faster, farther, more often? Yup. Nutrition.
Nutrition is not just about how you look either, it is also about how you feel. How do you feel throughout the day? If you feel sluggish and tired, it is directly related to what you ate. If you feel energetic and productive, it is related to what you ate. Bad day the gym? It is related to what you ate. Killed it at the gym and ready for more? It is related to what you ate.
Because of how important nutrition is to your health, as well as disease prevention, we are spending hours creating a killer program, backed by science, designed by licensed professionals, that will educate you and not restrict you.
We will be sharing with you nutrition tips, videos, recipes, blog posts, articles and more with the goal of supporting you on your journey. The right nutrition will take get you to those goals faster than you ever expected!
Keep on the look out, friends. Strong Tower Nutrition is right around the corner…
